Information we process

Expertly processes the information needed to operate your candidate account and recruitment profile.

• Account identity and sign-in information supplied through our identity provider.
• Profile, work history, education, skills, availability, and professional links you provide.
• CV documents and the structured draft produced from them when you choose AI-assisted extraction.
• Recruitment activity, interview, invitation, delivery, security, and audit records needed to operate and protect the service.
• Technical request and diagnostic information needed for reliability and abuse prevention.

Why we process it

We use account and profile information to provide the service you request, support recruitment workflows, communicate with you, secure the platform, meet legal obligations, and investigate service failures or abuse.

CV storage and AI-assisted extraction are performed only while your current recruitment-processing choice permits them. You may continue manually without uploading a CV.

Service providers and recipients

Expertly uses contracted infrastructure, identity, email, document-storage, AI-processing, and observability providers to deliver the service. Authorized Expertly recruitment staff may access candidate information when their role and assignment require it. We do not sell candidate personal information.

Retention and deletion

Active profile information and its current source CV are kept while needed for your candidate account and recruitment service. Replaced CV objects and failed or abandoned uploads enter a recoverable deletion process. Other account, delivery, security, and backup records follow the documented retention schedule and may remain for a limited period where security, legal, or recovery obligations require it.

Withdrawing recruitment-processing consent stops new CV upload, AI extraction, and profile publication. It does not itself erase information that must be retained for another documented purpose. Account deletion, privacy erasure, and removal from active recruitment are separate requests.

Your choices and rights

You can review and withdraw recruitment-processing consent in Settings. You may also request access, correction, a portable copy, restriction, account deletion, or privacy erasure where applicable. Expertly will verify the requester before completing a sensitive privacy action.

International processing and security

Some contracted providers may process information in another country. Expertly applies appropriate contractual and technical safeguards. We use access controls, encryption in transit, private document access, and security auditing, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
